- A class action lawsuit in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County, Pennsylvania says the website shared details about firearm orders and reservations with third parties without customer consent
- The suit claims this broke two Pennsylvania laws: the Wiretapping and Electronic Surveillance Control Act (WESCA) and the Uniform Firearms Act (UFA), 18 Pa. Cons. Stat. Section 6111(i)
- Sportsman's Guide denies any wrongdoing and says it followed the law at all times. The Court has not decided who is right. Both sides agreed to settle to avoid a longer, costlier case

Payment timing
If the Court approves the settlement, payments are sent within 30 days after final approval and after any appeals are finished. You can choose check, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. Checks expire and become void 90 days after they are issued.
