eosguide is an information resource that helps people find class action settlements, refunds, and consumer relief programs. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, what we do with it, and what your options are.

When we link to an official settlement website, claim form, court document, or settlement administrator, that site has its own privacy practices. Do not submit personal information on any claim site until you have confirmed you are on the official website.
What we collect
If you subscribe to our newsletter
We collect your email address. That is the only personal information we ask for. We use it to send you the eosguide Weekly — a free Sunday digest of new settlements and upcoming deadlines. We do not use your email address for anything else.
When you visit the site
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, device type, browser, approximate location, and interactions with the site. Google processes this information according to its own privacy controls.
We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, or payment information. We do not require an account to use the site or search settlements.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), operated by Google LLC. GA4 helps us understand which pages are useful, how visitors arrive at the site, and what content is working.

Advertising and Google AdSense
We do not currently show ads on eosguide.
When we introduce advertising, we intend to use Google AdSense. Ads served by Google may be personalized based on your interests and browsing history. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this site or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. For more information on how Google uses data in connection with advertising, visit Google's advertising and cookie policy.
We will update this policy before any advertising is enabled on the site.
Affiliate links
Some links on eosguide may be affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase or sign up for a service, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. We label affiliate and sponsored links clearly. Affiliate links do not affect which settlements we list or how we write about them.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your email address with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not create our own advertising profiles about you.
- We do not require an account, login, or personal information to use the site or search settlements.
- We do not collect claim form information. If you file a claim, that happens on the official settlement website, not on eosguide.
How long information is kept
Email addresses
We keep your email address for as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. When you unsubscribe, Buttondown removes you from active sends. If you want your email address deleted from Buttondown's records, contact us and we will submit that request on your behalf.
Analytics data
Google Analytics 4 data retention settings can vary by property. We use the retention settings available in GA4 and do not export or store analytics data outside the GA4 dashboard.
Your rights and choices
For California residents
California residents may have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, correct certain information, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
We do not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used in California privacy law.

For all users
Regardless of where you live, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter, ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete your email address from our records.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Third-party sites
eosguide links to official settlement websites, court documents, and government resources. Once you leave eosguide and visit one of those sites, their privacy policies apply — not ours. We are not responsible for how third-party sites collect or use your information.
We always encourage you to verify settlement details on the official site before submitting any personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy — particularly if we introduce advertising, add new data collection, or change how we use email addresses — we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in the newsletter.
