GoodRx $32M Privacy Settlement: Equal Cash Share, No Proof
By eosguide editorial · Last updated
GoodRx privacy settlement: claim an equal cash share of $32M with no proof if you used GoodRx before April 20, 2024. File by Dec 29, 2026. The lawsuit says GoodRx helped you find a better price on your prescriptions, and advertisers got the list at no charge.
What happened
Class period: Any time before April 20, 2024 (alleged data sharing between at least 2017 and 2020)
- GoodRx is a telehealth and prescription coupon company. When people use it, GoodRx collects personal and health information, such as prescription medications, health conditions, email addresses, and phone numbers.
- The lawsuit says that between at least 2017 and 2020, GoodRx shared this information with advertising and analytics companies, including Criteo, Meta, and Google, through software development kits (SDKs) and JavaScript pixels on the GoodRx platform.
- The lawsuit also says these companies used the information for their own purposes.
- The FTC filed its own action against GoodRx on February 1, 2023. Class actions followed and were combined into Doe v. GoodRx Holdings, Inc., Case No. 4:23-cv-00501-AMO, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
- GoodRx and Criteo deny wrongdoing but agreed to pay $32 million to settle. Claims against Meta and Google are not part of this settlement and continue.
- It affects people in the U.S. who used any GoodRx website, app, or service before April 20, 2024.
Your home address, phone number, relatives, or other personal details may already appear on data broker and people-search sites.
This settlement may pay eligible claimants for what happened here — worth filing. But data brokers are a separate, ongoing problem — hundreds of companies collect and sell your personal information continuously, from public records, loyalty programs, and more. They don’t need a hack to get it. Incogni sends removal requests to 420+ data brokers on your behalf and continues checking for reappearing data.
