$5 No Proof or $10 With Proof: CVS Privacy Settlement
By eosguide editorial · Last updated
Claim up to $5 with no proof, or up to $10 with proof, by Nov 16, 2026 if you used CVS.com or the CVS app before July 27, 2026. Your proof can be your browser history, which is fitting, since browsing data is what this case is about.
What happened
Class period: Any time before July 27, 2026
- The lawsuit claims CVS shared data from users of its websites and app with Criteo and other third parties
- The data was allegedly shared through technology built into CVS Digital Properties, including cvs.com, cvshealth.com, and the CVS app
- The data may include health or private information, personal information, browsing data, and identifiers
- The case is Brewer, et al. v. CVS Pharmacy, Inc. and Criteo Corp., Case No. CACE-26-008094, in the Circuit Court for the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County, Florida
- CVS and Criteo deny breaking any law but agreed to settle to avoid the costs of more litigation
Your home address, phone number, relatives, or other personal details may already appear on data broker and people-search sites.
This settlement may pay eligible claimants for what happened here — worth filing. But data brokers are a separate, ongoing problem — hundreds of companies collect and sell your personal information continuously, from public records, loyalty programs, and more. They don’t need a hack to get it. Incogni sends removal requests to 420+ data brokers on your behalf and continues checking for reappearing data.
