Tuft & Needle Discount Pricing Settlement 2026 -- File a Claim by July 14
By eosguide editorial · Last updated
Bought a Tuft & Needle mattress in California from 2020 to 2024? A settlement pays 45% of the "discount" you were shown. File for cash by July 14, 2026. Turns out the only real markdown was the one the lawsuit got you.
What happened
Class period: January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2024
- The lawsuit claims that Tuft & Needle deceptively advertised discounts on its mattress products on its website, tuftandneedle.com, allegedly showing customers markdowns that did not reflect a true reference price.
- Plaintiff Emily Chebul alleges this violated California consumer protection law, along with claims for unjust enrichment, breach of contract, breach of express warranty, and misrepresentation. Tuft & Needle denies all the claims and any wrongdoing.
- Rather than go to trial, both sides agreed to a settlement in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego, Case No. 25CU059198N.
What you can get

Extra details
- There are two deadlines that are easy to confuse: file your Claim Form by July 14, 2026 to get cash, but opt out or object by the earlier June 14, 2026
- If you do nothing, you automatically receive website credit rather than cash, so filing is the only way to get a check
- Website credit is good for three years, has no blackout dates, stacks with other offers, and is transferable
- The award is 45% of the discount you were shown, so a larger represented discount means a larger payment
- Class Counsel are Simon Franzini and Grace Bennett of Dovel & Luner, LLP
- File only through the official site to avoid copycat pages
