WISP Inc. Meta Pixel Privacy Settlement 2026 -- File a Claim for $18 by July 13
By eosguide editorial · Last updated
WISP Inc. is paying $18 to customers whose personal data was shared with Meta via tracking pixels without consent. File a claim by July 13, 2026. They sold you internet access -- apparently that came with a side of your personal data, on the house.
What happened
Class period: February 1, 2018, through September 9, 2025
- WISP, Inc. -- the company behind the internet service brand hellowisp.com -- is accused of secretly sharing customers' personally identifiable information (PII) with Meta and other third parties through the Meta Pixel and similar tracking, analytics, and advertising technologies embedded on its website
- Plaintiffs allege this was done without customers' knowledge or consent, in violation of the Florida Security of Communications Act, the California Invasion of Privacy Act, and the federal Electronic Communications Privacy Act
- WISP denies all wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the cost and uncertainty of continued litigation
- The lawsuit was filed in the Circuit Court of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, Broward County, Florida, as Case No. CACE26001543
- Anyone who purchased a product on hellowisp.com between February 1, 2018, and September 9, 2025, may be eligible for a flat $18 cash payment
Your home address, phone number, relatives, or other personal details may already appear on data broker and people-search sites.
This settlement may pay eligible claimants for what happened here — worth filing. But data brokers are a separate, ongoing problem — hundreds of companies collect and sell your personal information continuously, from public records, loyalty programs, and more. They don’t need a hack to get it. Incogni sends removal requests to 420+ data brokers on your behalf and continues checking for reappearing data.
