Up to $5,000 Crossroads Trading Settlement: How to Claim
By eosguide editorial · Last updated
Crossroads Trading data breach settlement: claim about $25, or $100 if you lived in California, plus up to $5,000 for losses. File by Oct 13, 2026. You traded in a jacket and walked out with store credit. They held onto your Social Security number, which was never part of the deal.
What happened
Class period: The data security incident happened on or about February 15, 2025. Out-of-pocket losses count if they were incurred on or after February 15, 2025.
- Crossroads Trading Co., Inc. is a buy-sell-trade clothing retailer. On February 15, 2025, it had a data security incident.
- The information involved includes names, dates of birth, addresses, contact information, driver's license or state ID numbers, Social Security numbers, financial account information, and passport information.
- Starting in April 2025, several class action lawsuits were filed by current and former employees, customers, and other people whose information was affected. The courts combined them into one case.
- The lawsuits say Crossroads failed to properly protect people's private information.
- Crossroads denies doing anything wrong. It says it had the right safeguards in place and that nobody was harmed. The Court has not ruled either way.
- The case is Wright, et al. v. Crossroads Trading Co., Inc., Case No. 25CV479119, in the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara.
- Crossroads agreed to pay $600,000 into a settlement fund to end the case.

Who may qualify
- You are an individual residing in the United States
- Your private information may have been compromised or otherwise affected in the February 15, 2025 data security incident
- You received a notice from Crossroads about the incident, which is the clearest sign you are in the class
- You did not exclude yourself from the settlement by September 14, 2026
- For the extra $100 California payment, you lived in California at some point between February 15, 2025 and October 13, 2026
How to file
- Find your Class Member ID on the postcard notice Crossroads sent you. You will need it.
- Go to https://forms.ksacms.com/efiling/fr/eform/CrossroadsSettlement_claimform/new?form-version=1
- Pick your benefit. You can take the Alternative Cash Payment or the Documented Loss Payment, but not both. Credit monitoring can be added to either.
- If you lived in California between February 15, 2025 and October 13, 2026, also request the California Statutory Cash Payment. It stacks on top.
- If you are claiming documented losses, upload your receipts, statements, or bills with the form.
- To file on paper instead, download the Claim Form from https://crossroadssettlement.com/documents and mail it to Wright, et al. v. Crossroads Trading Co., Inc., c/o Kroll Settlement Administration, PO Box 225391, New York, NY 10150-5391
- Claims must be submitted online or postmarked on or before October 13, 2026.

Proof required
- No documents are needed for the Alternative Cash Payment of about $25
- No documents are needed for the California Statutory Cash Payment of about $100
- No documents are needed for the two years of credit monitoring
- Documents are required for the Documented Loss Payment of up to $5,000
- Qualifying losses include long distance phone charges, cell phone minutes billed by the minute, internet charges billed by the minute or caused only by the incident, credit reports bought between February 15, 2025 and October 13, 2026, credit monitoring or fraud resolution services bought in that same window, and expenses from dealing with identity theft or fraud tied to the incident
- The settlement administrator decides whether any other loss is fairly traceable to the incident
Payment timing
Nothing pays out until the Court approves the settlement at the January 13, 2027 hearing. After that, payments go out on a reasonable timeframe once all claim forms have been collected and processed. If money is left over after claims are paid, it goes to a recipient chosen by both sides and approved by the Court.

Extra details
- The whole fund is $600,000. Attorney fees of up to $200,000, plus expenses, administration costs, and up to $2,500 for each of the six class representatives come out of it before anyone gets paid.
- The $25 and $100 figures are estimates, not promises. A heavy claim rate can shrink them.
- You cannot take both the Alternative Cash Payment and the Documented Loss Payment. Pick one. The California payment is the only one that stacks.
- Doing nothing gets you no money and no credit monitoring, and you are still bound by the release. That is the worst of both outcomes.
- The opt-out and objection deadlines are both September 14, 2026, a month before the claim deadline. If you want out, that is your date.
- Opt-out and objection letters both require your Class Member ID from the postcard. Objections also require proof you are in the class and a list of every class action objection you have filed in the past five years.
- You can only opt out for yourself. Group or mass opt-outs are rejected.
- The hearing date can move without further notice.
- Do not call the Court, the Clerk, the Judge, or Crossroads with questions. Use the administrator.
- Watch for scams. crossroadssettlement.com is the only authorized site for this case, and the claim and contact forms are hosted on forms.ksacms.com, which is Kroll's own system.
