Barefoot Dreams Privacy Settlement 2026 -- Claim $8 by July 31
By eosguide editorial · Last updated
Barefoot Dreams privacy settlement: a flat $8 cash payment if you bought from BarefootDreams.com between Oct 2023 and June 2026. File by July 31, 2026. It won't cover even one of their cult cozy socks, but it's $8 you didn't have for sharing shopping habits you never agreed to hand over.
What happened
Class period: October 14, 2023 through June 1, 2026
- A class action claims Barefoot Dreams, the luxury loungewear and blanket brand, shared its customers' personally identifiable information with third parties without consent.
- According to the lawsuit, the company let tracking technologies from Meta Platforms and Attentive Mobile, along with other analytics and advertising tools, collect data on what shoppers did on BarefootDreams.com.
- Plaintiffs say this violated the Florida Security of Communications Act, the federal Electronic Communications Privacy Act, the California Invasion of Privacy Act, and related laws.
- Barefoot Dreams denies any wrongdoing and agreed to settle to avoid the cost and risk of trial. No court has ruled that it broke the law.
Your home address, phone number, relatives, or other personal details may already appear on data broker and people-search sites.
This settlement may pay eligible claimants for what happened here — worth filing. But data brokers are a separate, ongoing problem — hundreds of companies collect and sell your personal information continuously, from public records, loyalty programs, and more. They don’t need a hack to get it. Incogni sends removal requests to 420+ data brokers on your behalf and continues checking for reappearing data.
