Rolling Stone "Lifetime" Subscription Settlement 2026 -- Reclaim Your Print Edition
By eosguide editorial · Last updated
Rolling Stone settled claims it switched "lifetime" print subscribers to digital. Reclaim your print edition or get 2 free years on RollingStone.com. Turns out "lifetime" had an expiration date -- it just wasn't yours.
What happened
- Penske Media Corporation (PMC), the parent company of Rolling Stone LLC, is accused of breaching its contracts with "lifetime" magazine subscribers by switching them from the printed edition to a digital E-Edition without their consent
- Plaintiffs also allege PMC violated the California Consumers Legal Remedies Act in connection with the same switch
- The lawsuit, Krivin v. Penske Media Corp. (Case No. 2:25-cv-05803), is pending before Judge André Birotte Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California
- PMC and its affiliates deny all claims and deny any liability or wrongdoing
- A proposed class action settlement has been reached that would restore print delivery and provide free digital access to affected lifetime subscribers across the United States
