NGL Labs Settlement – File by April 6, 2026
NGL Labs sent fake anonymous messages to trick users into paying for NGL Pro subscriptions, then charged a hidden weekly fee of up to $9.99. The FTC settled for $4.5 million. File a claim by April 6, 2026 if you paid for NGL Pro between January 2022 and July 2024.
What happened
Class period: January 2022 through July 2024
NGL Labs operated an anonymous messaging app that sent users fake messages designed to look like they came from real people.
Users were told that paying for NGL Pro would reveal who sent the messages, but that was false.
Many users also believed they were paying a one-time charge, but NGL enrolled them in a recurring weekly subscription of up to $9.99 without their knowledge.
The company routinely ignored refund requests.
The FTC and Los Angeles District Attorney's Office settled with NGL Labs and its co-founders for $4.5 million in July 2024.

Extra details
- Submitting a claim is not a guarantee of payment, all claims are reviewed before eligibility is confirmed
- Must be at least 18 to file. If under 18, a parent or guardian must complete the form
- The FTC will never ask you to pay to file a claim. Anyone promising faster access to your refund for a fee is running a scam, which would be ironic given the circumstances
